Thanks to a grant from the Tocker Foundation, Princeton Community Library is now Automated! We have bar-codes on the back of all library items, and bar-code scanners at the check-out desk, and once everyone comes in & gets the bar-codes for the back of their cards, check-out will be a breeze! Everyone can also check the catalog from any computer, anywhere in the world, and not only see what we have, but see what is available to check-out! (We've never had that option before.) Aaaaaaand, you can now put up to 3 items on reserve for yourself, with just the click of a button. How's that for being just as modern as the other libraries? You'll also have the added benefit of being notified of overdues via email, and the ability to see what you've got out already, when it's all due, & renew items day or night via the internet.
